"Koti" means "home" in Finnish. It is an entrance light that can be attached to the wall around the door or nameplate to illuminate the entrance area.
The compact size and textured exterior create a gentle atmosphere not found in conventional entrance lights. The "koti Conic Entrance Light" is a modern take on a standard outdoor light, making it a focal point of the building's exterior. The shade is at the end of the extended arm, so the light spreads mainly downward.
The pale grey colour gives a neutral impression. The iron is given a slightly rough satin finish, which reduces the cold sheen of the metal and makes it blend in with the surroundings.
