ANTRY 25th Anniversary Edition collaboration chair. ANTRY's beloved BUTTERFLY CHAIR was ordered from ercol in a special color.
This model is upholstered in Main Line Flax, a fabric from the British fabric manufacturer camira. It is made from pure virgin wool, which is made by spinning sheep's wool for the first time without any recycled wool, and is blended with 25% linen. A beautiful mixed yarn is created by dyeing after spinning. The colors were developed with inspiration from rare stones. The fibers are soft and smooth to the touch, making it a comfortable finish.

Camira is a British fabric manufacturer founded 50 years ago. They manufacture and sell upholstery for offices, schools, shops, hospitals, and public transport (trains, buses, etc.). They use natural materials such as wool, linen, and silk, and produce everything from yarn twisting to weaving in their own factories. Camira's high-quality fabrics are used in over 80 countries around the world.
[Maintenance]
Vacuum regularly, wipe clean with a damp cloth using fabric shampoo and soap, or have it steam cleaned or professionally dry cleaned if more careful care is required.

Its simple, clean forms reflect Lucien Arcolani's design philosophy and traditional craftsmanship, achieving the perfect balance between form and function by removing all unnecessary elements from the chair's structure. The distinctive shape of the Butterfly Chair exudes a sense of lightness and purity. The design is inspired by the traditional beauty of Windsor furniture, combining a playful, iconic silhouette with a comfortable seating experience. The rounded curves of the bentwood gently fit the contours of the body, providing comfort and serenity to the sitter.
Butterfly Chair's greatest feature is in its details: it features a traditional Windsor wedge and tenon joint, where the chair legs pass through the seat and are secured with wedges, creating a strong, durable base suitable for everyday use.
Today, the Butterfly Chair joins the L.Ercolani collection as part of a new collection that combines Lucien Ercolani's classic designs with ercol's iconic modern design.
This chair offers a warm, soft aesthetic and comfort suited to modern living.
The underside of the seat features a branding iron exclusive to this collaboration. Each chair will also be hand-signed by Henry, the current chairman * of Ercol and Lucien's great-grandson. This is a special chair, one of a kind. We hope you will cherish it and pass it on to future generations.
