Collection: NELSON BUBBLE LAMP
The Bubble Lamp, which is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York, was designed by George Nelson in 1952. Bubble lamps are characterized by the beauty of their simple yet unique form, which emits a fantastic light. The shade part that produces the light is handmade by craftsmen, and the thin steel frame is spray-coated with special plastic. It is made using the same process as when production started. The Bubble Lamp gave George Nelson his greatest international success and continues to be recognized today.
